Harry noticed how frazzled they all looked when they got out of the jeep, Clare especially.
“What happened?” Harry asked and helped Cord lead Clare to a seat in the food tent.
“You didn’t have a big wind storm here?” Cord asked.
“No. The weather’s supposed to be ideal for us today,” Harry said. “Nothing unusual at all.”
“Did you feel the ground shake, at least?” Clare asked him. She knew he was going to say no to this, too. Maybe it was the vessel they found.
“No. Now what’s this all about?” Harry asked as he went to get Clare some water.
He sat next to her and she began. “We were looking at lot A1 and Cord found that one of the corners could be opened. He removed the top and pulled out a vessel,” Clare said. She tried to calm herself down.
“Did you leave it there?” Harry looked at Cord and Marcie.
Cord stood to get some coffee and met Percy there. They both watched Clare, concerned about her.
